Super Hero Baby Shower - TWINS!! - Darling celebrations

A Super Hero Baby Shower is a great theme, especially for Twins! This Super Hero Baby Shower was kindly shared by one of our community, Angela from Connecticut.

I saw her super cute Super Hero pics online and knew it would make a great feature Baby Shower! I absolutely love the Baby Onesies that she used to decorate the walls with and the red, blue, yellow and black color scheme is bold and eye-catching!

Here’s what she says…

What inspired your Super Hero Baby Shower theme?

I have two teenage girls and a toddler on top of being pregnant with twins. I also worked the entire pregnancy in a pool teaching survival swim lessons.

Everyone kept calling me Super Mom. So it fit

What time of year was it?

It was February and freezing.

How did you decorate for the party?

Everything was made by my wonderful friend and Mother in law.

I designed and printed the thank you poem for the favor tables. Centerpieces were balloons.

There was a “clothesline” with superhero onesies and lots of superhero comic style decorations.

We ordered the balloon signs from Etsy.

What food did you serve?

We had it catered at an Italian restaurant. It started with brunch-style snacks. Mini muffins and danishes, fruit … Then we had lunch. We had lemon chicken, stuffed fish (not sure what kind because I don’t eat fish, lol), pasta, roasted potatoes, roasted veggies, and a garden salad.

And the drinks…

Traditional soda, water, wine, and mimosas.

Did you play any Baby Shower Games?

We played match the baby animal to the mommy animal and baby shower price is right.

Any other fun details?

We also did a “books for baby” instead of cards and a diaper raffle. And I set up envelopes to have everyone address so I had everyone’s thank you card envelopes already ready to be mailed out. I also had my nails done to look like Wonder Women to match the theme.

I just love this fun theme, especially fitting for Baby boy twins, where the Mom really does need superpowers! So bright and colorful, great job Super Mom!
